This past weekend, the Huskies beat the newly commissioned Clark University Club Squash Team 8-1, loosing only one match because of default. Over the past weeks, the Huskies have been riddled by injury and other unfortunate events forcing some of the practice squad players to step up and play in the match. The most notable of these performances was Freshman Ilya Sinyugin from Kaliningrad, Russia, won his match 3-0 playing absolutely impeccably. He has improved quite a lot since he first started playing Squash seriously just a few months ago.
The rest of the Huskies breezed thru their opponents, all of whom not dropping a single game. We look forward to hosting BU at home Wednesday 2/12 at 7:30 for our last and arguably biggest match of the season.
