The Northeastern Women’s Squash team hosted Boston College this Wednesday, January 18th at 7:30 pm in the Squashbusters Badger and Rosen Center.  In addition to Boston College being a major rivalry, the match was especially important as it was the final scheduled home match of the semester and therefore, Senior Night.

In previous encounters with Boston College, the Eagles had always come out on top, the most recent of their victories being in the fall semester when they narrowly defeated the Huskies  5-4.  Last night, however, Northeastern Women rallied together and defeated the Eagles 7-2.  The graduating seniors, treasurer Khloe Lewis and co-captains Lucia Ryll and Melissa Gwon, each convincingly won their matches in straight games.  Overall, the victory exemplified the growth of each of the players over the season and set the bar high for College Squash Nationals at the end of February.
