Fordham RR

This past weekend we played in the Fordham Round Robin. We played Fordham, Cal Berkeley, Stanford and Bucknell. Our goal coming into the tournament was to beat Stanford, which we did 5-4. Unfortunately, due to injury and sickness, we lost the rest of our matches 7-2, 9-0, 4-5, 7-2, respectively. President Ian Hay went 5-0 over the weekend which VP Alexander “Young Prince” Jafry went 4-1. Special mention to Jon Lau for bringing us the victory against Stanford, beating his opponent in 3 games to seal the deal. Overall, the Huskies played well and are looking forward to the rest of our season. Our next match is December 7th against Bowdoin here in Boston.
