The boys were on the road this weekend traveling to Poughkeepsie, NY to play the Vassar Round Robin squash tournament, the following are the updates from the matches:

Vassar College vs Northeastern University: The first match was against Vassar College on Saturday morning and the team put up a strong performance dropping only a game throughout all the matches. There were good performances by Kalil Menezes who was making his come back after being away on co-op last semester and Will Greaves Tunnel who put up a great win at the 4th position.

Northeastern University vs Bard College: Next on Saturday the men’s team faced higher ranked (37th) Bard College which was a crucial tie for the boys. Unfortunately we lost 3-6 to Bard. The team put on a good fight with Dan Blohm, Matthew Swenson and Adheesh Lilaramani winning their matches at the 1st, 8th and 9th position respectively.

Northeastern University vs Lehigh University:  The men played Lehigh University next on Sunday afternoon. They put up a decent performance winning 6-3. Dan Blohm, Karan Kishorepuria, Connor Rouan and Francisco Calderon put up a dominant performances at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th position respectively.

In conclusion, the team had a decent performance over the weekend finishing the round robin 2-1. Note must be made of Adheesh Lilaramani, who received the tournament ball for his pristine performance and effort this weekend.

The team will be training hard over the next two weeks under the keen eyes of coach Chris Santoro preparing for the Northeastern Round Robin taking place on campus the weekend after next. Hope to see you there.
